The President of the Polish supervisory authority met with the President of the National Bar Council
Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, met today with Włodzimierz Chróścik, the President of the National Bar Council of Attorneys-at-Law. The meeting was aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in the field of personal data protection. The main objective of the cooperation between the Personal Data Protection Office and the National Bar Council of Attorneys-at-Law is to deepen legal awareness and exchange of knowledge and experience in order to create and improve the network of professionals who deal with personal data protection.
-The common goal of the Personal Data Protection and the National Bar Council of Attorneys-at-Law is to deepen legal awareness of personal data protection. We want to reach primarily professionals with our educational message by undertaking new forms of cooperation to strengthen data protection. We also see the need to educate the public on the subject of the protection of personal data”, said Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
The two institutions have been cooperating under an agreement concluded in April 2023. The cooperation includes educational, promotional and publishing undertakings, as well as the organisation of meetings and training courses related to data protection.
