The President of the SA met with representatives of the Association of Data Protection Companies
Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, together with Konrad Komornicki, Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office, and employees, met with representatives of the Association of Data Protection Companies, including Przemysław Zegarek, the President of the Management Board of the Association.
"These types of meetings help us to see the challenges that data protection officers face on a daily basis, but also to identify effective solutions that they use in their daily, very important work. We look forward to further cooperation, which will result in creating solutions that will contribute to even better quality of personal data protection"- said Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
During the meeting, there was a discussion on the cooperation between the Personal Data Protection Office and data protection officers, the vision of the data protection market, standardisation and professionalisation of the sector in the context of auditing, information clauses, as well as the exchange of information, including information on threats. There was no shortage of talk about educational programmes, improving the competences of DPOs, but also taking care of the image and respect for DPOs.
Legal and administrative challenges were also discussed, as well as the image of the sector. The parties declared their willingness to work together on solutions for the data protection sector and controllers that facilitate communication with the Personal Data Protection Office.
The visit was the fourth one in a series of meetings between the President of the Personal Data Protection Office and organisations representing various DPOs communities.
