The President of Polish SA took part in the conference PINT24 - Law and New Technologies

On 28-29 June 2024, the PINT24 - Law and New Technologies conference took place in Krakow, organised by the Krakow Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. The topics of the event focused on issues related to privacy, artificial intelligence, quantum technology or cyber security. Speakers also discussed new regulations being introduced through the AI Act.

During the conference, Mirosław Wróblewski, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, gave a keynote lecture on the subject of “Personal data protection in the face of the AI Act and other EU legal acts ”.

The lecture of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office kicked off a discussion on the challenges to privacy and personal data protection in the digital context. The President of the Personal Data Protection Office also took part in the first panel discussion of the conference entitled “Privacy Protection ”.

During the conference, panellists also included members of the Social Team of Experts at the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, i.e.: attorney-at-law Dominik Lubasz, attorney-at-law Aneta Sieradzka, Eng. Mariola Więckowska, Prof. Marlena Sakowska-Baryła, attorney-at-law Roman Bieda, Krzysztof Wygoda, PhD and Prof. Arwid Mednis.
