Invitation to December's #DataProtectionLesson
The Personal Data Protection Office organises #DataProtectionLesson, webinars for students implemented as part of the “Your Data - Your Concern” programme.
#DataProtectionLesson are lessons on data protection that take place in an online format. The series of nationwide lessons is organised by the Personal Data Protection Office for primary and secondary school students as part of the educational programme “Your Data - Your Concern”.
The lessons will give the students knowledge on how to function safely in the world of new technologies. The initiative also serves to emphasise the value of data protection and privacy in everyone's life.
The webinar entitled “Human rights and personal data: What do you need to know?” is aimed at students in the 7th-8th grades of primary schools and secondary school students.
The lesson will take place on the occasion of Human Rights Day, 10 December 2024 (Tuesday), from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Participation in the event is free of charge.

The webinar will provide an excellent opportunity to highlight what human rights and personal data are. Participants will learn about the importance of personal data protection, the principles to be observed when dealing with personal data and the consequences of breaching its protection.
The event will be interpreted into Polish sign language.
