The President of the Personal Data Protection Office met with ambassadors of the European Union

On 17 February, a meeting was held with representatives of ambassadors of the European Union Member States.

It was an opportunity to establish relationships aimed at increasing the protection of personal data of EU citizens.

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, stressed the importance of personal data protection in the functioning of states and institutions. He also spoke about the impact of the Personal Data Protection Office on the law-making system in the field of personal data protection and on ensuring the security of data processing, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity.

During the meeting, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office spoke about the cooperation of the Personal Data Protection Office with numerous international institutions, especially in such an important period of the ongoing Polish Presidency of the European UnionHe also pointed out how important it is for the President of the Personal Data Protection Office to cooperate with government institutions, non-governmental organisations and communities representing individual industries, both public and commercial, as well as with European institutions and data protection authorities from EU and non-EU countries.
