Celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk crash
On 10 April 2025, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office paid tribute to the victims of the Smolensk tragedy.
The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, took part in a ceremony at the Powązki cemetery in Warsaw, where he laid a wreath at the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk catastrophe.
On 10 April 2010, a plane carrying a Polish delegation flying to the ceremonies marking the 70th anniversary of the Katyn Massacre crashed near Smolensk. 96 people were killed - 88 passengers and 8 crew members. Among the passengers were the highest representatives of the Polish authorities, including the President of Poland, as well as senior government officials and military commanders.
