Another expert lecture in the series "Data protection and technology"

The Personal Data Protection Office together with the Social Team of Experts at the President of the Personal Data Protection Office invites you to another open expert lecture in the series "Data protection and technology", devoted to current challenges related to data security in the context of technology development.

Lecture topic: "The landscape of current threats in the EU"

The lecture will be conducted by outstanding specialists in the field of law, technology and cybersecurity:

  • Rafał Tomasz Prabucki, Ph.D. – doctor of law, engineer and assistant professor at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Member of the Social Team of Experts at the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, founder of LegalHackers Katowice and expert in the field of cybersecurity and new technologies. He has extensive academic and practical experience, gained, inter alia, in international research projects.
  • Mateusz Jakubik – lawyer and Compliance Officer at Bonnier Business Polska. Expert in the field of data protection law, cybersecurity and new technologies. Lead auditor of ISO standards in the area of information security. He gained experience in both the private and public sectors. Lecturer and Data Protection Officer in many organizations.
  • Aleksander Wojdyła – security consultant at Securitum, law student at Kozminski University and certified pentester (OSEP, OSCP). He specializes in offensive security and compliance with NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001 regulations. He has conducted cybersecurity training for thousands of specialists around the world and appears as a speaker at international conferences.

Experts will discuss the latest threats in the area of personal data protection in the European Union, pointing to current trends and potential challenges resulting from the development of new technologies.
