Training conference – Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in Education 22-23 October 2025
Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, is inviting everyone to a conference on “Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in Education,” which will be open to anyone who's interested. The event will take place on October 22-23, 2025, and will be an opportunity to exchange experiences, gain up-to-date knowledge, and highlight the role of schools in shaping students' awareness of personal data protection and the right to privacy.
This conference is part of the nationwide educational program of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, “Your data – your concern,” which is aimed at primary and secondary schools and teacher training centers. Every year, it is organised for teachers and school principals registered in the program. Its aim is to equip program participants with the necessary knowledge about the principles of personal data protection in educational institutions and the implementation of the program. It also provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and present the activities carried out by participants in previous editions.
This year, in order to meet the needs of schools to increase their knowledge of personal data protection, the training format has been changed. Therefore, Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, invites all interested parties to participate in the training conference.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the Program's honorary patrons, including the Ombudsman for Children, Ms. Monika Horna-Cieślak, and the Ministry of National Education, headed by Minister Katarzyna Lubnauer, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Education. MP Monika Rosa, Chairwoman of the Committee for Children and Youth, and Joanna Bochniarz, President of the Polish Airports Foundation, which supports the activities undertaken by the Personal Data Protection Office as part of the Program, have accepted the invitation to participate in the conference.
During the two-day conference, participants will have the opportunity to listen to presentations by experts in artificial intelligence and education, as well as leaders of the “Your data – your concern” program, who have been participating in it for years and are committed to sharing their experiences and knowledge with other educators. Speakers will include experts from the Personal Data Protection Office and invited guests, such as representatives of the Ministry of National Education and the Center for Education Development, Mr. Kamil Śliwowski, digital skills educator, Ms. Magdalena Bigaj, founder and president of the Digital Citizenship Institute Foundation, and Mr. Maciej Groń, legal advisor at Scientific and Academic Computer Network.
