Agreement on cooperation between the Personal Data Protection Office and the Polish Bar Council

On 6 November 2025 in Warsaw, Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, and Przemysław Rosati, President of the Polish Bar Council, signed a cooperation agreement between the Personal Data Protection Office and the Polish Bar Council.

This agreement provides for the development of cooperation for the protection of civil rights and freedoms in the field of the right to privacy and the protection of personal data. The parties undertook to jointly promote the principles of personal data protection in the process of creating and applying the law, as well as undertaking joint educational initiatives.

According to the arrangements, the Personal Data Protection Office and the Polish Bar Council will inform each other about events and initiatives related to personal data protection, such as conferences, seminars or trainings. It is also possible for experts from both institutions to participate in these projects and to cooperate on projects related to the development of new technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence in the process of applying the law. The parties expressed their willingness to support each other in the work on publications popularising knowledge about personal data protection, especially in the context of legislative changes.

The cooperation between the Personal Data Protection Office and the Polish Bar Council is to contribute to strengthening the culture of personal data protection in the legal environment and to deepen awareness of the importance of the right to privacy in a democratic state governed by the rule of law.
