Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland – Mazowieckie Voivodship, 5 November

The Personal Data Protection Office is once again undertaking the “Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland” action. On November 5, representatives of the Personal Data Protection Office will visit Płock.

On that date, at 10 a.m. in the county office (ul. Bielska 59) an advice point will be opened where the Personal Data Protection employees will answer questions from interested persons related to personal data protection, privacy and data security. They shall also provide all information on the activities of the Personal Data Protection Office. The consultation point will be available until 1 p.m.

On the other hand, at 10.30 a.m. at the Academy of Mazovia (ul. Gałczyńskiego 28) the lecture "Challenges related to the processing of personal data in the activities of public entities" will start, which will be conducted by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski and Director of the Law and New Technologies Department, Monika Krasińska. In addition, in the Academy of Mazovia from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. lectures will take place:

  • ‘The role and position of data protection officers in public entities and their cooperation with the Personal Data Protection Office’, Monika KurzajewskaLaw and New Technologies Department of the Personal Data Protection Office
  • "Challenges for data protection in the era of the development of new technologies" Roman Sobotka, Law and New Technologies Department of the Personal Data Protection Office
  • ‘How to take care of your privacy – advice for seniors’ by Izabela Maryańska, Preliminary Review of Complaints and Data Breaches Department of the Personal Data Protection Office

Applications for meetings are collected by the Local Initiatives Office (Biuro Inicjatyw Lokalnych - BIL) of the County Office in Płock bil@powiat.plock.pl

During the visit, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski will meet with local government representatives.

In October, the Personal Data Protection Office the warmińsko-mazurskie voivodships (report from meetings in Olsztyn) and lubuskie voivodships (report from meetings in Gorzów Wielkopolski)   “Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland” action.

The ‘Personal Data Protection Office on tour across Poland” programme is a series of meetings between the President of the Personal Data Protection and representatives of the administration, business and residents of the regions, the aim of which is to popularise knowledge about the personal data protection and to support its practical application.
