On 28 January 2026, on the occasion of the European Data Protection Day, the Data Protection and New Technologies Congress organised by the Personal Data Protection Office and the National Bar of Attorneys-at-Law will take place at the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw.
The 20th European Data Protection Day is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to the increasingly serious challenges in the field of personal data protection, particularly in times of rapid development of new technologies and artificial intelligence. It is a moment when we should place special emphasis on safeguarding this protection and ensuring the security of citizens.
The Congress is an event to which many specialists in artificial intelligence, new technologies, experts in EU digital regulations, as well as organisations and institutions co‑creating a safe data protection environment in Poland, have accepted invitations.
The event will be opened by speeches from Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Krzysztof Gawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Affairs, as well as Professor Jacek Chlebny, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and Włodzimierz Chróścik, President of the National Bar of Attorneys-at-Law, co-organiser.
Numerous presentations and panel discussions will address topics such as the future of the GDPR, the regulatory future of artificial intelligence, new technologies in employment, the protection of minors online, deepfakes, cybercrime, quantum technologies, new technologies in medicine, and the EU Omnibus package.
