Personal Data in Public Procurement – Personal Data Protection Office’s Conference

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, and the President of the Public Procurement Office, Agnieszka Olszewska, invite you to the conference entitled “Designing Data Protection in Public Procurement: Challenges in the Light of Emerging Technologies.”

The event will take place on 17 April 2026, from 10:00 to 15:30, at the headquarters of the Personal Data Protection Office in Warsaw (1A Moniuszki Street).

The conference will focus on the key challenges related to the processing of personal data and the protection of information in the field of public procurement, with particular emphasis on the responsibilities of market participants in the context of technological developments.

The programme includes expert presentations and a discussion panel. The sessions will address, among other topics:

·       the application of the GDPR in public procurement,

·       assessment of data processing operations,

·       information security throughout the entire procurement lifecycle,

·       the role of contracting authorities and contractors in ensuring compliance,

·       the use of new technologies in public procurement.

The conference is addressed to representatives of public administration, contracting authorities, contractors, lawyers, data protection officers, and all those interested in secure and responsible public procurement practices.

The event will be held in a hybrid format – participation will be possible both on-site and online (streamed on the websites of the Personal Data Protection Office and the Public Procurement Office).

On-site participation requires prior registration due to a limited number of places. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
