"GDPR in Healthcare" – The Personal Data Protection Office invites you to the conference
The Personal Data Protection Office invites you to a conference organised by Szpitale Pomorskie sp. z o.o. in cooperation with the Personal Data Protection Office.
The event will take place on September 15, 2026 at 10.00 a.m. at the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship at 21/27 Okopowa Street in Gdańsk.
The conference concerns issues related to the protection of personal data in the healthcare sector. The subject of the event focuses primarily on the processing of health data, the protection of patients' privacy and the challenges resulting from the dynamic development of new technologies. The issues discussed are of particular importance due to the sensitive nature of medical data and the growing scale of digitisation of the healthcare sector.
During the opening speech, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, will give a lecture entitled "Data protection in the healthcare sector – experiences and challenges".
The event will also be attended by Monika Krasińska, Director of the Law and New Technologies Department of the Personal Data Protection Office, who will speak during the discussion panel "New challenges for healthcare facilities – how to reconcile personal data protection, patient rights and the development of new technologies".
Numerous experts will share their knowledge and experience during the conference, including members of the Social Team of Experts at the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
The conference is a valuable space for exchanging experiences, discussing current challenges and developing practical directions for ensuring a high level of patient data protection.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
