The Personal Data Protection Office and the Social Insurance Institution invite you to a seminar in Legnica

The Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) invite you to a seminar titled “Digital Administration: Personal Data—The Controller’s Responsibility for Collecting, Storing, and Disclosing It.” The event will take place on September 24, 2026, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Legnica.

The seminar program includes two panel discussions. The first panel will address, among other topics, the importance of personal data protection in digital administration. Monika Kurzajewska, senior specialist in the Division of Cooperation with Data Protection Officers within the Law and New Technologies Department at the Personal Data Protection Office, will participate in this panel. Mariola Więckowska, a member of the Social Team of Experts at the President of the UODO, will also be among the panelists.

The second panel will focus on the principles of lawful data processing as organisations carry out their tasks.

The seminar will begin with a lecture by Dr. Piotr Nadybski, Ph.D., titled “Where Does Data Reside in the Age of AI? Digital Sovereignty as a New Perspective on Data Protection.”

The seminar will also be streamed live on the “Elektroniczny ZUS” channel on YouTube. No registration is required to participate online.
