Seminar "Health Protection in Employment and GDPR"

Are the current legal regulations adequately adapted to the present needs and health risks faced by workers, and is GDPR a barrier to the active involvement of employers in the public health protection system? These and many other questions will be addressed by experts at the seminar organized by the Personal Data Protection Office, the Social Team of Experts under the President of the Polish SA, and the Lewiatan Confederation, titled: 'Health Protection in Employment and GDPR'.

We warmly invite you to participate in the event, which will take place on November 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in a hybrid format. The online broadcast will be available via the website of the Personal Data Protection Office at www.uodo.gov.pl.

The seminar has been divided into four thematic panels, within which experts will discuss topics including:

  • data processing in health prevention,
  • psychological assessments, testing, and support for employees,
  • employment and professional activation of employees with disabilities,
  • workplace accidents.

Each presentation will conclude with a discussion aimed not only at fostering a better understanding of the issues presented but also at inspiring the search for further solutions that could support a more comprehensive realization of employee and employer rights in the area of health.

The findings gathered during the seminar will also be used in the update of the employer's guide on personal data processing in employment, which is being developed by the Personal Data Protection Office and the Social Team of Experts under the President of the Polish SA.

We kindly inform you that, due to high interest in the seminar and the exhaustion of available spaces, registration for the event has been closed.

The link to the online broadcast will be included in this announcement on the day of the event.
